ABOUT US

Moon Bureau is a dynamic arts production team passionate about creating new and innovative works. We launched in 2017 when we premiered our first work, detention, at Short+Sweet Sydney. Since then we have developed and produced short films, series, and multiple performance works; including plays, musicals, interactive shows, and digital theatre.

Most recently, Moon Bureau debuted our new devised work Hemlines to sell out shows at Sydney Fringe Festival and ran a development of Wally by Nick Vagne, supported by ShopFront Arts Open Shop Program. Our co-production Pieces of You screened at Short Shorts & Asia 2023 in Tokyo, Japan; where it won Best Short Film and the Tokyo Governor’s Award. We developed and toured award winning one woman show Next Step (2022). We developed and toured Good Talk to Adelaide Fringe Festival and Anywhere Festival Brisbane; and toured our devised ensemble work Illuminated to Sydney, Adelaide and Darwin Fringe Festivals. We also produce Changing International Film Festival, currently in its seventh season.
